Marmalade Glazed Chicken Kebabs for BBQ

Perfect for the barbecue, these sticky, glazed chicken kebabs are guaranteed to steal the show. Sweet and savoury, they’re always a hit with the crowd.

We love serving them nestled in crisp lettuce cups with rice noodles and carrot ribbons for a fresh, vibrant twist – but feel free to get creative. From flatbreads to slaws, the possibilities are endless.

Ingredients

500g chicken thighs

75g La Vieja Fábrica St Clements Marmalade

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp Mustard

Method

1.

Slice the chicken thighs into 6 pieces each. Place in a bowl with all the marinating ingredients and leave to sit for at least an hour in the fridge or overnight.

Take the chicken slices out of the marinade & put on a tray. Put your grill on a medium high heat & cook for 5-7 mins until the chicken pieces start to slightly catch & char.

3.

Turn the pieces & repeat for another 5 mins until completely cooked.

4.

Remove from the heat & leave to rest for a few mins. Always make sure the chicken is cooked through before serving.

We served ours with rice noodles, carrot ribbons & lettuce cups but the options are endless.
